Oh my goodness!!! The summer has flown. I've been super busy. I acquired another regularly occuring class at the Mankato Makerspace. Every other Wednesday I teach beginners sewing. The unofficial title is: Help! I just inherited Grandma's sewing machine. Now What?
This is the very basics of operating a sewing machine. Setting up the machine, plugging it in. Winding the bobbin. Threading the machine. Understanding the dials/buttons/settings. Then we make a small project to learn to read a pattern.
I've also taught several community ed classes on leather crafting.
My Fall continues with:
Savannah Portage Rendezvous and SW St. Louis County Fair.
August 26, 27, 28 at the MN State Fair with the Territorial Pioneers.
September 24-28 Lester River Rendezvous (Duluth)
October 1-5 Big Island Rendezvous, Albert Lee
October 7- 11 McGowan's History Fest, Mankato
October 23- 27 HCCAGM, St. Crispins Day festivities in Winston- Salem, NC
I'll still answer messages but be aware, it may take a day or so.
